Bang & Olufsen just announced their latest headphones and pushed the envelope when it comes to battery life.
The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX promises a 35 hours battery life with ANC (active noise cancelling) on and 40 hours battery life with ANC off.
This is a significant improvement compared to the competition. Just how major it is?
Decide for yourself!
Other premium headphones like the Sony WH-1000XM4 and Sennheiser Momentum 3 have a battery life of 30 or 15 hours, respectively.
Of course, the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX also commands a bigger price, retailing for $499.
If you look at the headphone construction though, it’s easy to see why. Just like previous Beoplay headphones, the cups are made of memory foam and lambskin, the headband has leather and knitted fabric, and the discs and arm sliders are aluminum.
They have Bluetooth 5.1 and a 3.5 mm headphone jack (with cable included), charge via USB-C and have touch controls.
Right now, they’re only available in black, with white and white and brown models to launch at the end of April and May.
