Best Deals 2021: Top Android Phones on Sale (After Black Friday)

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are behind us and if you haven’t scored a phone deal on these occasions, you’re probably beating yourself up right now. If you ask me, there’s plenty of time to fix your mistake. Here are some of the best deals in 2021 for top Android phones.

You might be looking for a phone for your friends and folks or maybe you want to switch brands; in either case, the trade-in system doesn’t really help. But you’re still hoping to get a great Android phone this year, preferably at a super discount. Because who’d want to give up quality to make a buck, right?

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 & Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

My first suggestion to you is actually… the Galaxy Z Flip 3. I know, it launched at a super steep price but guess what? Right now you can find the 128GB version heavily reduced from the initial $1200 price! And you know you’ll have on your hands a premium flip phone, compact enough to carry in your pocket, 5G ready, speedy, with an 120Hz refresh rate screen. Battery won’t blow your mind… but trust me, it won’t get better than this.

Another Samsung steal is the Galaxy S20 Ultra. While it is a 2020 release, with the exception of a tele camera improvement, autofocus and battery upgrade, you’re still looking at the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Only if you buy the S20 Ultra model, you save hundreds of dollars.

OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 8T (and OnePlus 8)

Not a Samsung fan? That’s fine since we do have a couple of OnePlus deals that might be up your alley. Starting with the OnePlus 9 Pro, 12GB model. That’s the latest from OnePlus and it sells with a couple of hundreds dollars discount from the $1000 launch mark. If you don’t have a problem with renewed items, then you’ll find yourself working on a super fast, bright, durable and best of all, camera wizard this end of year.

Maybe you were hoping to spend less than $800 on a phone? Then, OnePlus 8T could be your choice. And you still get a 120Hz refresh rate display and 48MP primary cameras. There’s always the OnePlus 8 for less than $500 too, but you’ll have to skip 5G connectivity and resign yourself to a 90Hz screen.

Google Pixel 6

While Samsung and OnePlus may be obvious choices for many of you, they’re not the only Android phones that deserve a shoutout. There are some budget/midrange handsets on my list, but before that, it would be crazy not to tell you this scoop.

Google Pixel 6 is on sale. You won’t get a major discount but for a recent, premium release, every penny counts.

I know you’ve been keeping tabs on this phone but here are some highlights, nonetheless.

This is the first phone to come out with Google’s own chip, Tensor, which does wonders in terms of machine learning. It will get your voice requests easier and enable you to do some editing magic like detect and erase annoying things in the background of your photos.

Plus, you know that Pixel phones are camera wizards, and this one rivals iPhone 13 Pro. Add to that the 5 year security updates Google promises to bring and it makes for a great deal.

If you’re looking for something specific like a rugged phone or a budget one that still feels quality, we’ve got your back.

Nokia XR 20

Our rugged choice of the year is… Nokia XR20. This phone is shipping with a strong glass screen, rough back, and has a grippy texture, so your slippery fingers won’t put it in danger. It’s been reduced from the initial $550. Best of all, it still comes with a headphone jack, NFC, wireless charging, plus 3 years of OS updates.

Moto G Power 2021

Finally, Moto G Power 2021. Here we’re looking at an under $200 phone, renewed version, with a 48MP main camera, a 5,000mAh battery, extra storage slot and headphone jack. At this low price, you’ll have to contend with 4GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 662 chip. For a budget phone however, that’s not half bad!
