Sick of not being able to grab a console? According to this report, the new Nintendo Switch might be a very appealing alternative.
A new Bloomberg report says that the new Nintendo Switch will have a 7-inch 720p OLED display made by Samsung Display and that the new console will enter mass production in June.
The Samsung Display-made new 7-inch display in the new Switch would be a significant upgrade over the current models.
The Switch now on the market comes with a 6.2-inch display, while the Switch Lite goes down to 5.5-inch.
Even better, the new Bloomberg report claims that the new Nintendo Switch will be able to have 4K graphics when plugged in to the TV.
Bloomberg didn’t have any source who could offer a release date for the new Switch but they do say that the display will start shipping to assemblers this July.
If that happens, we’d bet the new Nintendo Switch will hit the shelves during the holiday season – and hopefully Nintendo will make enough to keep up with demand!
