The Sleepbuds are the new Bose earbuds that won’t be rocking any sick tunes but will probably rock you to sleep. At least, that’s the promise they offer in exchange for $250.
The Bose Sleepbuds come in three sizes for maximum comfort and help block external noise, while also using preloaded sounds to counter the noise they can’t block. Right now, there are 10 preloaded sounds like ocean or campfire noises, with more to follow. To pick out the ambient noise that makes you doze off, the Sleepbuds will connect to the Bose Sleep mobile app that will act as a remote.
While they don’t offer active noise cancellation and they can’t play actual music or podcasts, they do offer the option of setting an alarm that only you can hear, which could be a great feature for those who don’t want to disturb others in the house. #audiomagic
On the autonomy front, the noise-masking Sleepbuds come with rechargeable batteries with up to 16 hours. Just like other trendy earbuds, they come with a travel case that also doubles as a charger.
