Three months ago, Samsung announced the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta update for Galaxy S20 series, and since then three public beta versions of the new software were released. Just recently, the company has presented the One UI 3.0 features on its website, which is expected to start rolling out soon with the Galaxy S20 series getting it first, followed by the Note 20 series.
According to Samsung’s website the updated will arrive on more high-end and mid-range devices in the following months.
Due to the Quick panel improvements, users will be able to seamlessly switch back and forth between music and videos, while the Notification panel will showcase messages from multiple apps in one place. For those using a Galaxy Z Fold2 the apps will adapt to the Main Screen when the device is unfolded, and set back when folding the phone, making the experience smoother.
Those using foldable phones will also get a cool new feature, the Multi-Active Window, allowing users to partition the screen into halves or three parts for multitasking purposes.
In terms of camera, the Dual Preview and Read Cam Selfie will let you get selfies with the main camera mode while using the cover screen as a preview.
The Dynamic Lock Screen and Good Lock features will make your screen more aesthetically pleasing, allowing different background images every time you unlock your device. Moreover, the Good Lock feature make it easier to create moving wallpapers, or customize S Pen Air commands.
