A few weeks ago we presented the first renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G together with a few leaks confirming the new arrival. Now, prominent Youtuber Jimmy Is Promo posted a video showing real-world images of the new flagship, and it got everyone talking about it.
Size-wise, it looks like the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will be somewhere in between the Galaxy S20 and S20 Ultra. The display on the S20 FE has a Full HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, and unlike the Infinity displays on the current Galaxy S20 phones, the device has a flat-screen with visibly thicker bezels.
Previous leaks tell us Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will pack a 12MP + 12MP + 8MP sensor camera setup, with a camera array that looks exactly like the Galaxy S20. The hands-on video also confirmes talked about features like the 30X digital zoom, stereo sound with Dolby Atmos support, 4,500mAh battery, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The new Galaxy S20 FE is set to run on a Snapdragon 865 with 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage, and in the video, we can see the device is operating a software version One UI 2.5.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G was spotted on a Canadian retail database priced at CAD 1148.65 ($881). There’s no clear information about pricing or official release date in other parts of the world, but we can expect this to be sooner rather than later.
