Case manufacturer Olixar, alongside retailer MobileFun, started accepting pre-orders for an iPhone SE 2 screen protector. Renders from the pre-order seem to show the new budget phone featuring an iPhone X-style bezel-less display.
This render has caused some stir as it is quite unlikely for Apple to add such a display, as well as Face ID, to its budget phone. That said, the glass back shown in the renders, as well as the larger camera, are more in line with what the company has envisioned for the iPhone SE 2 and might make it to the final design.
Previous rumors also pointed to wireless charging and a June launch. Unlike the next iPhone flagship, Apple is bound to unveil the budget phone sooner, maybe at their World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC).
Until then, you could risk preordering Olixar’s FlexiShield iPhone SE 2018 case.
