Pocophone F1 was a literal wildcard from Xiaomi in 2018’s landscape, bringing truly flagship features for just $300. Because everyone really wanted to find out how water-cooling actually works, especially in a $300 phone, one Twitter user already posted a Poco F1 teardown in extreme details.

You’ll notice the already familiar Snapdragon 845 chipset which now features the LiquidCool heatpipe, which connects the metal heatspreader fitted on the processor to the backbone of the phone to diffuse heat.
The Pocophone F1 teardown also lets you take a peak at the infrared camera and illuminator, as well as the earpiece. Of course, with a price that low and so many easy screws, quite a few entusiasts could take apart a Poco F1.
As we said before, the Poco F1 pairs the Snapdragon 845 with 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a massive, quick charging 4000 mAh battery. Let’s not even mention the 6.18-inch full HD+ display or the very decent camera setup. All in all, the Poco F1 specs and teardown make it a highly attractive device.
