LG’s modular concept presented at MWC 2016 brought back the hope that you can further customize your phone according to your needs. You could opt for more camera battery life and a better grip during shoots or for audio enhancement. Rumors said LG G5 would launch in April and now, we can finally put them to rest with an exact release date: March 31.
At the beginning of April, the G5 will hit stores globally. Until then, a Redditor says you will be able to pre-order it at AT&T and Sprint and from March 24 at Verizon. We also have a presumed price of $799 or $99 if you get two-year activation at Best Buy.
Another thing to remember is that LG will give away G5’s Friends in specific markets only. So, some of you will have the chance to buy the smartphone with Cam Plus, others with extra battery and a battery recharging dock that should take you about $100. In US, the smartphone will come with the battery option and a microUSB adapter for your Type C port.
