A Fortnite-style version of Microsoft Xbox One S recently appeared in leaked images online. It’s colorful and definitely a must-have, even if you aren’t a Fortnite fan.
WinFuture reports that this limited edition will integrate a new “Dark Vertex” skin and 2000 V-Bucks in-game currency, plus a month of Xbox Live Gold, EA Access, and Xbox Game Pass.
The most striking thing about it remains the color, though. The console features different nuances of purple, in a sort of pleasant gradient, with the white logo, with a wireless controller to match.
That dark purple will not only satisfy Fortnite fans but also gamers who have quite a console collection and take pride in their limited edition hardware.
The Xbox One S Fortnite Limited Edition is rumored to cost $299 with the Blu-ray optical drive and 1TB of storage. The console doesn’t have a release date yet but it’s likely to appear in the company’s annual E3 press conference on Sunday June 9th at 1PM PT / 4PM ET.
The Xbox One S Fornite Limited Edition is certainly not a first for Microsoft; the company has customized several Xbox One S consoles. Earlier this month it announced different models as part of a partnership with Warner Bros, including a Godzilla-themed one that will not be available for purchase but offered as a raffle prize.
