Good news for those of you waiting for the Galaxy S11. The smartphone is closer to be unveiled, as a promotional video accidentally revealed the date of its launch. The video on Twitter suggests not one but two Galaxy devices, one could be its foldable flip phone to rival the Motorola Razr.
The company is officially unveiling its first phones for 2020 at the Palace of Fine Arts, on Feb. 11 in San Francisco at 11 a.m. PT.
Max Weinbach, the one that had posted the Tweet, and the host and writer for XDA Developers later mentioned that he picked up the video from a Vimeo link found on Samsung’s press page.
“Vimeo will show recommended videos at the end, usually the newest videos uploaded to the channel,” he tweeted. “It will show videos EVEN IF THEY ARE UNLISTED. Samsung, obviously, didn’t know this. So when I went to look at a video from their press page… I ended up having all three videos recommended.”
The video leak also reminds us of the invitation, with letters “Glxy” interspersed with two images suggesting the well-known Samsung phone packaging, so the rumors seem to add up. According to the rumors, Galaxy S11 will borrow elements of design from Galaxy Note 10 and will integrate 5G, a 108-megapixel camera.
