Samsung Galaxy Note 7′ recall left a lot of users disappointed and unsure whether to pursue Samsung devices in the future or not. The company, on the other hand, has made every effort to ensure their fan base stays intact (even issue a full-page apology!). It seems next year, phablet enthusiasts will get another chance to play on a “big” device from Samsung. S8 will come with a large 6.2-inch display #mobilemagic
The Investor reported that coming February 2017, the Galaxy S8 will launch with two screen variants: a 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch model. This means that while the second phone will probably keep the body size, it will take advantage of the bezel-less design teased at the iMiD 2016. Therefore, the screen-to-body ratio will be 90% next year, offering you a display usually found on phablets.
This announcement is a small confirmation of the rumor that S8 will give up the home button and choose an optical fingerprint recognition instead. We also know that the smartphone is expected to come with a curved design only and to feature a new, Viv AI assistant.
