As gaming has become more mainstream, the market for gaming peripherals has grown tremendously. Higher tech set ups have become more common, with mics, headphones and more present in gaming households. Gaming chairs, too, have surged in popularity as gamers look to find more comfort for longer gaming sessions. One company is looking to take gaming comfort to the extreme by selling a gaming bed.
Japanese company Bauhutte is selling a gaming bed to bring maximum comfort and ease to the gaming experience. According to PC Gamer, Bauhutte is trying to sell the fact that one can wake up and stay in bed to play a game.
The bed itself can be combined with multiple other Bauhutte accessories. These include a headboard with storage space and an attachable/adjustable phone holder to use it hands-free while laying down. At the foot of the bed is a desk with an ability to attach screens and speakers. Additionally, there is a rolling side table with room for snacks, apparently called the “Energy Wagon.”
Although meant for comfort, PC Gamer makes a good note that this bed could be helpful for those with mobility issues.
In total, the bed will cost you around $1000. If the comfort is worth the price, it may be something worth looking into.
