Back in September, Google announced the Google Pixel 5 smartphone. Recently, a couple of live images suggesting a so-called Pixel 5 Pro have surfaced. Being the first time we hear this type of information, we should probably take it with a grain of salt.
So the Pixel 5 hasn’t been exactly what the fans were expecting in terms of performance, but the Slashleaks suggest that there may be an important upgrade on the way.
The most obvious change you’ll notice looking at the leaked photos is the fact that the rumored Pixel 5 Pro won’t integrate an obvious front-facing camera, suggesting the company has maybe cast a pop-up camera lens. It seems like the phone runs on the Snapdragon 865 alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, but for more detailed specs we’ll just have to wait for more leaks to surface.
As we’ve learned, Google suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic and shipped only 1.5 million units in Q1, and the numbers kept going down.
Hopefully, if the Pixel 5 Pro will materialize, it will make up for the disappointment brought by Pixel 5.
