Some of you might be familiar with GoPro’s cloud service but for those of you who are not, the company offers a $4.99 per month subscription-based cloud service where users can upload unlimited photos and up to 35 hours worth of video.
Now the company has decided to upgrade the offer to include unlimited videos at native resolution, which means that your 4K videos won’t end up being compressed.
While all the videos have to be shot on a GoPro, that is the only requirement the users have to keep in mind. That includes files that were shot on older GoPro cameras as well and, in addition to that, the company offers their Plus members a 50% discount for mounts and accessories, available globally. Talk about a deal, right?
At the moment, GoPro’s Plus subscription service counts around 185,000 paying subscribers and, while the number is impressive enough, the company seems to plan to increase it. And with an offer like this, honestly, it’s hard to resist.
This new GoPro Plus service will start rolling out globally as of today.
