Harley Davidson Will Launch Its First E-Motorcycle Next Year

Cool is more than leather-wearing bikers going down Route 66 on a Harley, with the wind in their hair. Cool is electric, as shown by Tesla. Soon, that electric factor will also reach the iconic Harley Davidson brand. #automagic

In 2019, the Harley Davidson electric motorcycle will launch and, with it, some bikers will be speeding towards the future.

“You’ve heard us talk about Project LiveWire…it’s an active project we’re preparing to bring to market within 18 months,” said Harley Davidson CEO Matt Levatich.

The company presented a LiveWire prototype back in 2014, one that was able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds.

While the company did not detail the current Project Livewire any further, we do have this awesome teaser.
