At this point, if you have already associated your Android device with the Google account that you also entered on iOS, you just have to wait a few seconds for the synchronization to take place.

Alternatively, to synchronize the data of an iOS device with an Android device, you can use the Google Drive backup and cloud storage application, which, available on Android and iOS , is able to synchronize files and data on multiple devices so that they are always available.

To do this, download the Google Drive application from the iOS App Store. If prompted, confirm the installation of the app by typing the password of your iCloud account, through the Touch ID or Face ID , and start the application by pressing its icon from the home screen or by tapping the Open button in the  App Store.

On the main Google Drive screen, press the Login button and log in with the Google account you intend to use on the Android device as well. Once logged in, press the button with the menu symbol (the  three horizontal lines ) and then tap the button with the gear symbol and, finally, Backup. The simplest solution to transfer photos and videos from an iOS device to an Android device is to back up and synchronize with Google Photos.

Google Photos is an application developed by Google that can be used on Android and iOS to free up some memory on your device by archiving multimedia elements in the cloud: it is one of the most used cloud storage tools and it comes equipped with a very simple and intuitive user interface.

Download the Google Photos application through the App Store, type in your iCloud account password or confirm installation through Touch ID / Face ID.

To synchronize the multimedia elements in the iOS Photos app, you need to start Google Photos and then log in with the Google account you intend to use on the Android device.  Then all you have to do is press the Confirm button when prompted to immediately perform the backup and synchronization.

Make sure that in the Backup and Sync menu  the Upload size option  is set to  High quality , which will allow you to store photos and videos at no cost without space limitations (however, you will need to set a resolution limit of 16MP for photos and 1080p for videos). If you want to save larger files, you will have to subscribe to a paid plan.

The photos synchronized with Google Photos are then uploaded online and will be visible in the Google Photos application for Android .
