Huawei’s Honor 10 is out and it doesn’t disappoint. The device comes with some of the tech magic Huawei bestowed on P20, but at a much lower price. This combination of features and more affordable pricing makes it one irresistible phone. #mobilemagic
One of the things that sticks out most is the smartphone’s design. Honor 10 is a beauty, featuring a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, a glass back, and a notch. The latter is there to make room for the frontal camera, earpiece, and various sensors.
Once you power on the device, you’ll see it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS (with EMUI 8.1 skin) on a Kirin 970 processor. This is the same processor that the P20 uses. Not only that, but the device offers up to 6GB of RAM, just like P20 Pro, and a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Other features include:
- 16MP RGB+24MP monochrome dual camera with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF (phase detection auto focus)
- 3.5mm audio jack
- dual nano SIM slots
- 3,400 mAh battery
- fast charging supports
However, it does not offer the following:
- microSD slot
- Face Unlock
All in all, Huawei’s Honor 10 offers a lot at a cheaper price. The device will go on sale in China on April 27th and will be set for a worldwide launch on May 15th. Honor 10 will be available in four colors: Black, Blue, Gray, and Purple. The starting price will be around $415 for 6GB RAM with 64GB of storage and $480 for the same amount of RAM but 128GB of storage.
