Microsoft is getting ready for next month’s XO19 London event, a “global celebration of everything Xbox”, and unveiled the rarest special edition controller for the Xbox One.
Meet the DPM X019 Exclusive controller.
It’s an Xbox One gamepad with an Aquabrush print made by DPM Studio, a design division of the famed UK street brand Maharishi.
While at first look it appears to be a simple camouflage print, peek closer and you’ll spot some references to iconic London landmarks.
Considering the collaboration with the streetwear brand, there’s no surprise that Microsoft is playing up to hypebeasts: it will only sell 1,000 of these Xbox One controllers.
Each one will be on sale for $100 US and limited quantities will be available in three locations: the X019 event in London, Microsoft’s London store, and, for those outside the UK, online on the Microsoft store at this link.
However, there’s a catch here as well: DPM X019 Xbox One controller will be available immediately after the Inside Xbox stream on November 14th at 5 PM ET, so move fast and refresh that page.
For those who won’t manage to snag one, there are some consolation prizes like free wallpapers or T-shirts with the same pattern.
