The Chinese Company was supposed to launch the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro during a press conference taking place in Paris on March 26. Sadly, today the company confirmed that the event is canceled because of the Coronavirus outbreak.
The event will be replaced by a ‘live broadcast event’ where the next-generation flagship will be unveiled and transmitted on social channels and platforms. However, the company hasn’t changed the time nor date of the event.
Moreover, a teaser of the Huawei P40 series was released today, highlighting the camera bump. We don’t have official information regarding the camera, but so far, rumors suggest the P40 Pro can easily compete with the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The camera is particularly interesting in the zoom department, thanks to Huawei’s software algorithm. Now, the usual 3x telephoto zoom is believed to cover 3x to 10x zoom. Once it reaches the 10x mark is reached, the crazy 10x, the periscope camera activates and can go up to 100x zoom.
