Bezeless screens are the dream for any mobile or portable owner. With recent advancements in display production, manufacturers are almost trampling themselves over presenting the thinnest edges possible. Every six months or so, we see a new thin-bezel monitor or laptop, that usually comes with a caveat: the price. Well, if a source close to Huawei is to be believed, the Chinese manufacturer is planning a razor-thin bezels laptop that combines a low asking price with cutting edge tech
According to the Chinese publication, the new portable will sport a new type of 3K resolution display, with one of the thinnest edges that that company produced to this point.
Calling it a “floating full-screen” design, Huawei wants the laptop to dissolve the conventions of classic portables, and introduce a new way to immerse yourself into “a clear view of the boundless future.” Depending on the asking price, the specs, and the build quality, if the new portable looks as impressive as the leak sais it is, Huawei is gunning for the higher end of the market.
With previous statements that the new MagicBook SE is targeted towards office use and students, the new portable with a “floating full-screen” design could prove to be an alternative to an otherwise expensive laptop. It all depends on what kind of specs and “revolutionary display” is introducing with this floating display laptop. We will keep you updated as soon as new pieces of information are made public.
