If you’re on your Instagram feed scrolling for your favorite updates but you’re having a hard time getting there, you’re not alone.
As frustrating as it is, a feature that lets you spot your beloved content first is on the way because Instagram is now testing out a solution for your feed called “Favorites.”
Recently, Alessandro Paluzzi, a mobile developer has hinted about the new feature on Twitter.
The feature is supposed to let you classify your most relevant Instagram accounts as your preferences so that the content will arrive “higher” in your feed. The update is all about offering users more control over their feed by letting Instagram know which accounts are a priority.
Now, the accounts that are popping up higher in your feed are due to the most recent and shared posts from the users you follow, or how you engage with the content. Therefore, you don’t want to give Instagram the wrong signals on what you want to see in your feed by liking posts that are not necessarily in line with your needs.
