Instagram announced in a blog post recently that it will be updating the app and is currently testing a profile redesign.
They continued to say that, over the next few weeks, the users will be seeing some of the Profile features going through some changes: the icons and buttons will go through a few updates and that the redesign will make the Profiles easier to navigate and use.
Instagram also assured the users that the photos they have updated to their Profiles so far will not be affected.
The changes will roll out in phases and different combinations as Instagram will depend on user feedback in order to decide which features to change, how and which to eventually keep.
It’s not the only way Instagram has been working on improving its platform recently: the company has also started targeting fake likes, followers and comments in order to improve user experience.
