Jon Prosser, one of the most prolific Apple leakers, is back at it with some news on the upcoming 2021 iMacs.
According to this new video on YouTube channel FrontPageTech, the new iMacs for 2021 will be available in the same 5 colors as the 4th-generation iPad Air.
The new iMac line will be available in Silver and Space Gray, for those who prefer muted colors on their tech, but also in Green, Sky Blue and Rose Gold.
As Prosser points out, long-time Apple fans will surely get a nostalgia hit from this color scheme.
Essentially, the 2021 iMac brings pastel versions of the iconic original iMac colors, like strawberry, tangerine and lime.
Prosser shared some renders of the newly-redesigned iMac but says you should take these images with a grain of salt. Since he has not yet seen the rear of the new iMacs, the renders are just educated guesses (beyond the new colors).
Early this year, MacRumors said that the redesigned iMac will have slimmer bezels and flat backs, something reflected in Prosser’s update.
They are also expected to use Apple Silicon chips, something which really ruffled Intel’s feathers.
