Kena: Bridge of Spirits will unfortunately be delayed.
According to a Twitter announcement by the development team at Ember Lab, the game will be delayed about a month from its original August 24th release date to September 21st, 2021. The team has stated that they decided to delay “to polish the game across all platforms.” Kena is currently set to release on PS5, PS4, and the Epic Games Store.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits made a splash when it was showcased at the “Future of Gaming” event in June 2020 meant to hype up the PlayStation 5. It has since continued to look promising, even highlighted as one of the eight games during Tribeca Games Spotlight.
The story revolves around Kena, a spirit guide who sets out to save a village haunted by lost souls. The team at Ember Lab come with cinematic, animation, and visual effects backgrounds, clearly illustrated in the game’s stunning aesthetics.
While fans will have to wait, the wait won’t be too long.
