At the beginning of this year, Lenovo enticed us with news that it will work, alongside Google, on the first mobile in the Project Tango series. Now, there’s been rumors about the actual size of this device and a possible name #realitymagic
According to tipster @evleaks, we’re expecting a device with an enormous 6.4-inch Quad HD display called aptly Lenovo PHAB2 Pro. Yes, the size makes it perfect for a ping-pong game, but you have to admit it’s only necessary for the purpose of Project Tango. You need a big display if you’re going to map the surface around you and play with augmented reality, either to imagine where the barbecue and garden table will sit or how the livingroom would look like with corner sofa.
Designers and architects are part of the core target for Lenovo’s AR phablet, a device that will be discussed further this week at the Tech World event. As for price tag, think lower than $500.
