LG will have its hands full during the CES: in addition to a lineup for smart kitchen appliances, ultra PC monitors and its Cinebeam Laster Projector, the company will also be presenting three new byproducts it has created in collaboration with Meridian Audio: the SL10YG, SL9YG and SL8YG soundbars, to be more exact.
All the models will support not only Dolby Atmos and DTS:X but they will also come with the Google Assistant already built-in.
It means that, in order to turn up the volume for example, you’ll only have to issue a voice command. Of course, the tech works with any other Google Assistant devices you might have in your house so you can ask it to turn on or off anything you might need.
As far as the sound bars themselves go, they all have slim designs and come with an integrated gyroscope sensor that will allow the users to position them on any flat surface.
While we’re curious to experience these new soundbars, we can expect them to be pretty high-quality: last year’s soundbar, the SL9, managed to snag an innovation award so we’re not going to be surprised if the new models will grab one this year as well.
