Make A Song By Dancing: The Mictic Wearable Turns Your Movements Into Sounds

Do you miss the dance floor and can’t get enough of TikTok’s dancing challenges?

Then this XR wearable from Mictic should be next on your list of gadgets.

The Mictic turns your movements into sound, allowing you to create songs on the fly, just by moving your hands!

The wristbands translate movements into sounds like electric guitar, cello or drums, and let you easily “compose” EDM, hip hop tracks, or even game music.

All you have to do is strap the Mictic wristbands, connect them to your phone via Bluetooth and the dedicated app, then pick the instrument or genre you want to play.

The makers took to Kickstarter to raise $10K and predictably already met and surpassed that goal.

“It doesn’t matter if you already have a Grammy or have never picked up a musical instrument, with Mictic you’ll be expressing yourself the minute you put the wristbands on and connect via Bluetooth,” they said, which is a tempting proposition indeed.

The price of the Mictic wearable is also pretty tempting.

An early backer can get 2 wristbands and start making music through simple hand gestures for less than $100 USD.

You can also connect and use the Mictic as a Midi controller with professional tools like Ableton, Logic, Garageband and others.

If you want to get started, visit their Kickstarter page and check out those demos! The violinist one is particularly impressive.
