Michael Kors is one of the many fashion brands that have released a smartwatch in the last year. Fashion companies have been keeping the Wear OS alive over the last few months, if we’re being honest.
Now Michael Kors is offering an update to its Access smartwatch line with a brand new Runway watch. It doesn’t look like anything we haven’t seen before, with a nicely sized 1.2-inch 390 x 390 circular display and steel and silicone bracelet and strap choices.
Under the hood, the watch runs on the Snapdragon Wear 2100 and has about a day’s worth of battery life. It features heart rate monitoring, NFC, GPS tracking and a 3ATM rating so you can use it when you go swimming. And… that’s about it.
Price-wise, the watch goes for $295 for the models that feature silicone bands and for the steel bracelet variant you will have to make your wallet $350 lighter. If you really want to go for it, they’ll go as high as $450 for the top-end rose gold model.
They will ship starting September 3rd but keep in mind there are new models coming in very soon to spearhead Google’s wearable revival so you might want to wait for a bit, especially with IFA Berlin just around the corner.
