Most chargers are doing their best to deliver the fastest recharge in the smallest amount of time. The team behind Bioo Lite, though, had another objective in mind: how to make recharging, envionmentally-friendly. A smart plant pot emerged #objectmagic
Bioo Lite is a charging pot that uses any plant’s photosynthesis process to convert green energy in electricity. All you need is a healthy plant, the device of your choice and the USB cable that you commonly use to recharge it. To get started, you have to take out the USB port from the pot, pour some water and set the plant. Soon enough, the energy produced in the soil, near the plant roots, will be transfered as electricity, during day and night.
Don’t worry – you don’t have to apply any special treatment to the plant, in order to make the system work. As far as the plant is concerned, the pot can’t harm it in any way.
If you decide to purchase Bioo Lite, know that one pot costs €99, if you don’t care for the color – standard white. You’ll get to see how your phone lights up in the “cleanest way possible” starting December 2016, when the company begins shipping.
