Apple’s new MagSafe charger and the much anticipated iPhone 13 line-up has once again made an appearance, this time in an official FCC listing.
While the official listing is still light on details, it does contain a diagram which shows the new MagSafe will be able to handle a pair of AirPods.
The charger was tested with all four existing iPhone models, noted in this listing as ‘Legacy Phone’, and four new devices, which probably are the upcoming iPhone 13 models.
Those are rumored to come with stronger magnets, so Apple seems to be putting it all into this charging tech.
However, don’t expect a significant speed upgrade.
According to the FCC filing, the new MagSafe charger will offer 15W charging speed, the same as the current model. Could this be a minor upgrade instead of a full-fledged new version? It’s likely based on Apple’s style.
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out, because Apple will probably announce the new iPhone 13 lineup as early as next week.
