After HTC resurfaced with a 5G project and plans for a second-gen blockchain phone, a leaked spec sheet revealed the company’s plans for a new mid-range phone.
It appears that the Chinese company has a smartphone in development as we speak. Recently seen on Geekbench without a commercial name, only branded as 2Q741, the device apparently runs Android 9 with a Media Tek Helio P35 chip and has 6GB of RAM.
The same chipset was used on the Mi Play and the Honor 8A Pro but the new HTC smartphone has one more benefit – the extra 2GB. Most mid-rangers have around 4GB of memory.
This is just a glimpse of the specs the new development has to offer and it’s believed the launch culd be around the corner.
Until then we’ll keep you posted on more leaks from HTC.
