Almost five years after launch, Nintendo has finally done it. They’ve finally added support for Bluetooth audio devices.
You read that right. You can finally connected Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and any other audio output devices to your Nintendo Switch.
The latest #NintendoSwitch update is now available, including the ability to pair Bluetooth devices for audio output.

As Nintendo outlines in an official tweet, users can now find a “Pair Device” option in their system settings menu.
However, the Bluetooth pairing options are limited. When using Bluetooth audio, only two wireless controllers will be able to connect to the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, only one Bluetooth audio device can be connected at a time.
While Nintendo is among the last to put Bluetooth audio capabilities into their system, it’s better late than never.
