OnePlus confirmed its OnePlus 8T 5G launch two weeks ago on its social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram, announcing the phone is ‘coming soon’. We have learned that the upcoming OnePlus arrives sooner than expected, on October 14 and recently the company has confirmed a selfie camera upgrade.
The phone is expected to be a premium device, integrating the Snapdragon 865 processor, 62.8 millimeters (mm) high, 75.5mm wide x 8.4mm depth, just a little shorter than its predecessor, but with the same thickness.
The company dropped a hint that the OnePlus 8T will integrate an ultra-wide-angle selfie snapper, that would promote group pictures and it would also enable users to capture more of the background.
With a 6.55-inches display, OnePlus 8T 5G will feature very similar camera capabilities to the OnePlus 8’s cameras, a quad-camera setup with a 48 MP main sensor, a 16 MP ultrawide, a 5 MP macro cam, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The phone will also support a refresh rate of 120Hz, and integrate a 4,500mAh battery.
For the price of approximately $700, the phone will come in either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.
