OnePlus has always been one for teasers and this announcement is no different.
OnePlus just announced that it will announce its first pair of true wireless earbuds later this month, on July 21st.
The official announcement will accompany the OnePlus Nord reveal – right now, we just know they’re called OnePlus Buds.
Considering the hype behind the OnePlus Nord and this teaser, we’d expect the OnePlus Buds to feature active noise cancellation, if not an impressive battery life.
Right now, the only wireless earphones from OnePlus are the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z (pictured above), which feature a neckband.
They also have the wired OnePlus Type-C Bullets, a surprisingly well-done pair of budget headphones, but nothing of what you’d expect for 2020 trends, so it’s good to know the OnePlus Nord buyers will have options.
About the OnePlus Nord, we know that, as the company’s first affordable option, it will be under $500. It will probably pack 8 GB of RAM, a mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor and a rear quad camera setup that includes a 48 MP sensor.
Fortunately, the teasers and rumors will end just one week from now, with the official reveal.
