Inno Day tech event is Oppo’s platform for showing off its new products, and the next one is taking place tomorrow, November 17. The company just released a teaser on Weibo, revealing a glimpse of a new device it will announce during the event. In the image, we can see a small part of the handset and what looks like an ‘infinite’ display.

The announcement points out this new device is still a concept phone, so there is no real timeline for when it will be widely released. Other companies are also working on the same type of display. It was believed LG will be the first to release a rollable phone, it looks like Oppo won the race., for now.
It’s not clear if Oppo will show off a working device or just a glimpse of how the technology would work. Either way, flexible smartphones are becoming more of a thing, so Oppo seems to be on the right track.
