Oppo Find N has won an important award at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona: the Disruptive Device Innovation, which, in short, highlights the fact the company’s foldable smartphone is a top-notch mix of innovative technologies.
The GLOMO Awards are chaired by over 200 independent industry experts who recognize new devices that improve user performance and experience by delivering technology and software advancements.
The reasons for why Oppo’s smartphone was chosen for this particular award were the closure mechanism and its distinctive design.
Thanks to its ergonomic design, the Oppo Find N can be used with one hand when closed and once opened it offers a wide range of use. In addition to that, the Flexion Hinge improved the device’s reliability and reduced the appearance of creases on the display, an issue that has plagued foldable smartphones since they first started to pop up on the market.
To top it all off, the hinge allows the foldable to remain balanced for content watching purposes when opened at an angle between 50° and 120° degrees.
“We are honored that Find N received the Disruptive Device Innovation Award at this year’s GLOMO. This is an important recognition of OPPO’s products and technology, not only from our industry peers, but also from end users themselves” Oppo Vice President of Overseas Sales and Service, Billy Zhang has said in a statement. “After four years of research and development, we are delighted to see that OPPO Find N is finally making foldable devices suitable for everyone’s needs, and not just for tech enthusiasts. User experience has always been at the heart of our work and will continue to be as we further explore how to consistently deliver added value to people through technological innovation.”
