Chinese smartphone manufacturers have started to come up with their own design and features ideas a while ago and it doesn’t look like the they are going to stop anytime soon. The Oppo 19 plans to become the first phone to have a built-in camera on the screen.
An image started circulating on Chinese social media platform Weibo which announces the new Oppo 19 in March 2019 and also shows the front of the screen where we can clearly see the integrated front camera.
The phone has no notch whatsoever and the only hint we have that there’s even a camera present is the tiny hole up top. We can also guess the phone is going to come with an in-display fingerprint reader and a vertical camera on the back of the phone.
As always, as this is merely a leak that has not been addressed officially by the company yet, take the information with a grain of salt. We’ll keep you posted if we find out anything new.
