Remember that double notch Pixel 3 bug we got a hold of around Halloween? Well, it looks like it has also brought along a friend.

Several users have been reporting a bug on both Google’s Pixel forum as well as on Reddit, a bug which keeps them from using the camera app. Users receive a “Can’t connect to the camera” message while others have been reporting getting a message that says that “The camera driver encountered a fatal error” when using apps like Instagram or Facebook. According to the users, the flashlight function is also disabled.

Rebooting the phone works for some users, but only for a while, before the camera begins to act up again. Using the phone in Safe Mode doesn’t seem to make much of a difference either.

Google support has acknowledged the issue in some instances but only some users have been reporting receiving replacement devices while others have been told to wait for a fix.

At the moment, Google has not released an official statement concerning the issue.
