Razer has announced a new addition to its audio line: the Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds. They connect via Bluetooth 5.0 and are water-resistant, among other things.
They have a 60ms input latency, which means that audio should sync well and the users won’t encounter any stuttering issues. This low latency is good for competitive gaming as well because the players are able to hear the sounds as they happen within the games.
It’s unknown just how water resistant they are, Razer only states that “Because the earbuds are water-resistant, you can work out to your favorite tunes and have the freedom to wear them in a variety of outdoor activities.” Which means that you can take them out for a run in a drizzle but it’s best not to submerge them.
The earbuds come with their own accompanying case and, according to the company, they have up to 16 hour of battery life when used along with it.
They feature touch controls which allow the users to manage calls, activate their phone’s voice assistant and, of course, control music. The earbuds will auto-pair with your device.
If you want to buy them, they’re already available for purchase for $100 from either the Razer website or select retailers.
