Realme ‘s new “All in 5G” strategy will revolve around the launch in Europe of the new and anticipated Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro + smartphones : the Chinese company has confirmed that the latter model will be powered up by a processor from MediaTek.
That is the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G, to be more exact.
The chipset is further confirmed by a listing on GeekBench of a Realme smartphone with 8GB, Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0.
According to the latest rumors, the Realme 9 Pro + 5G will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. A fingerprint sensor will be integrated in the display as well.
As far as the photo and video department goes, we’ll find a 16 MP punch-hole front camera for selfies, while on the rear, a module with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
Reportedly, the 9 Pro Plus will feature an Optical Image Stabilization feature, which will ensure crisp and clear images.
In addition to the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset, the device will also have a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging support at 65W.

The phone will most likely feature dual SIM and will accept Nano-SIM cards. Other features we’ll see on it will be Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with Band 40 support) as well as sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope and a proximity sensor.
It will come in Midnight Blue, Aurora Green and Sunrise color options.
According to the latest rumors, the device will launch globally, alongside the Realme 9 Pro, on February 15th.
In terms of pricing, we can expect both devices to cost somewhere in the range of $300, which, considering the features, is not a bad deal at all.
