Rebel Robin: Stranger Things Prequel Podcast is Coming Soon

Are you a Stranger Things enthusiast? If so, you’ll be excited to find out that Netflix has announced a Robin-centered podcast, voiced by Maya Hawke.

Focusing on the character’s “superhero origin story”, the podcast promises to follow the popular character through her sophomore year at Hawkins High School.

“I love running from monsters and stuff, but I really love hallway conversations about feelings. It was great, I got to wear my pajamas,” Maya stated for Bustle.

Although we have no update as to when the Stranger Things season 4 will arrive, the six-part audio drama podcast entitled Surviving Hawkins will debut on June 29th. Furthermore, the upcoming season will bring a few new, exciting characters, and we’re thrilled to find out that one includes Amybeth McNulty, from Anne with an E, among other newcomers like Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien.

For Stranger Things fans, the upcoming season is long overdue, as season 3 debuted in 2019, and season 4 is expected to arrive somewhere in 2022.
