Redmi took to Weibo to confirm that the Redmi K20 will be making its official debut on May 28 and, according to a post Xiaomi founder Lei Jun put up yesterday, the smartphone will have a 48MP Sony IMX 586 main sensor.
We also know that the phone will have a Snapdragon 855 chipset under the hood, an AMOLED Gorilla Glass 6 screen and an UD in-display fingerprint scanner.
Aside from that, we don’t have any other information regarding Redmi’s upcoming flagship but this K20 series might end up featuring two devices: a regular variant and a Pro one that will feature more high-end features. But don’t take our word for it as this is just speculation based one the rumor mill.
We’ll know more next week and when we do, we’ll tell you all about it.
