Rumor: 32GB MacBook And New Processors for Apple Laptops Coming In 2017

Apple fans who are feeling disappointed by the lack of increased performance are about to receive a surprise this year. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says this year the company will release a 32GB MacBook and upgrade the CPUs of all laptops #hardwaremagic

Kuo, who has previously predicted the iPhone SE and the Touch Bar, is back with another rumor worth noticing. He said that in the second quarter of the year Apple will give more power to its 12-inch MacBook with the help of new Kaby Lake Intel processors and an additional 8GB of RAM to a total of 16GB RAM. Afterwards, the company will bring the same CPUs to their 13-inch and 15-inch laptops.

The biggest update will come in the form of a 32GB, 15-inches MacBook, believes Kuo. This will make many professionals – videographers, photo editors, graphic artists – regain their faith in Apple computers as products who not only look good but work great. The extra RAM will definitely come in handy to those who have hundreds of clips, photos or songs to work with.

As for design and other specifications, don’t hold your breath – there won’t be a complete Apple overhaul. There’s no release date in sight for any of the updated MacBooks, but we can look after clues in the second part of 2017.
