After the success of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the South Korean giant seems to be turning its attention to the mid-range market, with the Galaxy A23 smartphone in tow.
The phone, in addition to being spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, also appeared on a dedicated support page on Samsung’s portal for the Russian market, which you can see in the screenshot below:
According to the information leaked so far regarding the data sheet, the smartphone would be equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
On the Samsung website, the device appears with model number SM-A235F and features a dual-SIM card slot.
It will arrive with a 6.6 inch IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch to accommodate the selfie camera. The rear camera housing will accommodate four sensors: A 50MP main snapper, an 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP cameras: a macro and a depth unit.
On the side, we’ll find a fingerprint reader. There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
In terms of software, the phone will have Android 12 out of the box with One UI 4.
The spec sheet also tells us it will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 4G chipset under the hood and that it will have 4GB RAM on board. Even so, a version with 6GB RAM can also be expected to make an appearance.
Overall, the device will be 10.3mm thick, with the camera bump included.
This is all the info we have available on the device so far but, with the model page already up, a launch is imminent and we should hear official news from Samsung soon enough.
