Samsung Galaxy A33 and A13: New Specs Leaked For The Upcoming Mid-Range Line

With the excitement surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series waning, we’re shifting our focus to Samsung’s upcoming mid-range and budget options. We’ve heard some bits and bobs about the Galaxy A73, A53 and A23, as well as other Samsung A-series devices planned for release in the near future.

Now however, we have more details about the Galaxy A33, as well as some extra information about the Galaxy A13.

Starting with the slightly smaller Samsung Galaxy A33, most of the specs are similar to what we’ve seen in previous leaks.
According to WinFuture, the phone would have a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080p. It will also have 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a giant 5000mAh battery.

As far as the chipset goes, the details are a bit murky, as every leak suggests a different one. It’s expected we’ll see an Exynos 1200 Soc under the hood, but MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 processor has also been mentioned.

Turning to the Galaxy A13, this device is expected to be sold as an exclusive to Europe and won’t have a lot in common with its U.S-released sibling, the A13 5G. This European variant will allegedly not come with 5G support and will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 850, as opposed to the Dimensity 700 found in the US variant.

It will have 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.

Design-wise the A13 does not look all too different from the A33. They share a similar camera setup for example, though the A13 will be slightly larger, at 6.6 inches, with a PLS LCD panel instead of an OLED. The A13 will have a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging capability and will cost around $279-299.

Both phones are new additions to Samsung’s ever-expanding A-series, which aims to offer devices for budget and mid-range prices.

This is all we know so far but, as always, take this info with a grain of salt.
