Last month, Samsung released the Galaxy Fold and reviewers didn’t spare their feelings when it came to it.
Units soon started to get cracked screens or get damaged, mainly because users peeled off the protective layer. Also, issues appeared with the sturdiness of the hinge. This caused the launch to be postponed and all pre-orders canceled.
According to Korean media outlet Yonhap, Samsung has now fixed the protective layer issue. They integrated it inside the screen.
Moreover, they worked on the hinge, filling that gap near it to avoid debris getting inside the device and damaging components.
We can expect the Korean manufacturer to attempt another release of the foldable smartphone early next month but will users change their minds?
