Samsung Starts Beta-Testing Android 7.0 Nougat This November 9

Android Nougat

Samsung is (almost) ready to unveil Android 7.0 Nougat to its customers. This week, on November 9, beta testing will begin in the U.K., where thousands of consumers eagerly await to get a taste of the new OS #softwaremagic

Wednesday,  the Galaxy Beta Program app will give users a chance to check the new features of the operating system and send Samsung feedback regarding usability and performance. Those in the United Kingdom who want to participate in the beta testing will need to first download the app from Galaxy Apps and then submit a registration request through the form that will pop up automatically. That doesn’t mean they’ll get a sure place in the beta-testing, the company has the last word.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the Android Nougat testing will be possible on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices (with the exception of special editions such as Batman and The Olympics), so only users who own at least one of the two devices will be taken into consideration. The beta-testing period should finish at the middle of December, meaning participants will have an entire month to test, make an opinion and send feedback.
