Samsung is one of the names we’ve heard mentioned the most when it comes to foldable smartphones and foldable screens and it looks like they might be up to something again.
The company sent out a tweet that is, allegedly, teasing about a big reveal which might just involve a foldable device, or perhaps, at least a prototype version. Samsung described their upcoming developer conference as “the crossroads between the present and the future”. The graphics in the video show two lines that unfolded into an arrow, which could suggest that the foldable screen is going to take its first steps into the wild.
Of course, we might just be jumping to conclusions, but we’re definitely not the only ones. Besides, a report from The Wall Street Journal that surfaced back in July suggested that the Galaxy X might be hitting the market in 2019 and feature a foldable screen.
We’re very excited to see what’s going to happen but also a bit apprehensive – the phone, according to analysts, might end up costing a much as $1,800.
