Take A First Look At Microsoft Surface Pro

This month, Microsoft is set to unveil the much-awaited successor to Surface Pro, the tablet that gave Samsung Galaxy Book a run for its money. Days from the Shanghai event, press renders featuring the new tablet-laptop hybrid appeared online #hardwaremagic

The 2017 tablet from Microsoft has shed the number from its name. At least, that’s what inside sources are letting us believe. As for Microsoft, the company has been tight-lipped about the product, suggesting only that there will be no Surface Pro 5 to speak of. Hence, the next in line after Surface Pro 4 should be called Surface Pro. Much more to the point, we know.

So, what about the specs and design? The first are still everybody’s guess, but we do have a design update thanks to VentureBeat. Press renders have revealed the overall look of the tablet. It’s nothing earth-shattering, mind you. The tablet looks very similar to its predecessor; you can see the same design language. Its accessories – stylus, keyboard, mouse – will come in a variety of colors, though:

 

The Windows 10 tablet will have the same desk support as the previous model:

So, what will differentiate Surface Pro? Its internals, clearly. Are they going to be worth upgrading to this gadget? You’ll have to see next week, at the Microsoft announcement in Shanghai.
